16 ' BUSIESS HAN IS 0 INWOTOR CRASH Eugene L. Norris Killed When Auto Strikes Culvert—Other ke Traffic Accidents. While returning from a business trip to Brandywine, Md., late yes- terday afternoon, Eugene L. Norris, forty-three years old, automobile salesman, residing at 2129 18th street, was killed as a result of an automobile accident at Clinton. Md. He was almost instantly killed when his car struck a culvert on the side of the road near Clinton High School. Charles Robinson, driver of a mail truck, rseiding at 217 11th street southeast, brought the body to the wcity. 1t was examined by physicians mt Emergency Hospital, who br nounced life extinct. The body was later turned over to relatives. The deccased was a native of La Plata, Md.. but had been a resident of this city for a number of years. He is survived by his widow and six ehildren. Two Soldiers Hurt. Privates Henry Crowe and Hershel ‘Thorpe, Q. M. C,, stationed at Was| ington 'barracks, were injured ye terday afternoon as a result of accident to a government motor ¢ cle and sidecar the former was driv- ing at 6th and M streets southwest. it was reported that the motor cycle collided with the automobile of Charles Smith, 313 Alfred street. Mrs, Edna Larimore, thirty-five Years old, 3240 19th street, yesterday afternoon was slightly injured when her automobile collided with a street car at Mount Pleasant and Lamont streets. ~ Robert S. Billheimer, resid- ing at the 19th street address, driver of ‘the automobile, was arrested by police of the temh precinct on <harges of illegal possession and transporting of intoxicating liquor, it being alleged that he had twenty gallons of alcohol in the car.
