Funeral services for Millard Fil- more Burrows, who died suddenly Sunday at his home, 2920 M street, Jeorgetown, were conducted from the family home this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Dr. Ruley, pastor of the Congress Street’ Methodist Protestant Church, of which Mr. Burrows was a communicant, officiating. The in terment was in Arlington national cemetery, with military honors, un- ler the auspices of the Veterans of iIndian Wars. The funeral services were under the direction of Potomac Lodge, No. G, F. A. A. M., of George- town. Mr. Burrows was a member of the Association of Oldest Inhabitants, which sent a delegation to the fu- reral and interment. He was also a nember of the Society of Natives, he Circle Club and the District of “olumbia Rmployes' Assoclation. For 1 long time prior to his death, and it the time of his death, Mr. Bur- ows was connected with the Dis- ‘rict of Columbia municipal govern- ment.
