Va.. recently of Arcturus. a suburb of Alexandria. Va.. who came into prom- inence when she brought suit against the secretary of the late Senator Boise | Penrose of Pennsylvania, charging he had kissed her, Tuesday afternoon was taken to Gallinger Hospital for mental observation, having been arrested in the District building. Mrs. Smythe had an automatic pis- tol in a holster that was f:u\enad about her waist when she visited the District building and asked for mterview with Commissioner Oyster She was referred to Maj. chief of police, to tell her story of alleged persecution by a group of men, and it was while conversing with the police chief that Inspector W.
