Believing that they have a good op- portunity to win sucgess at the polls this year, democrats of the county already are organizing. Yesterday democrats of the Suitland neighbor- hood, in Spalding's district, at a largely attended meeting formed a club, electing George J. Hess, a mem- | ber of the fouse of delegates, pre dent, and Elmer Pumphrey vice pre ident. The organization starts with a substantial membership, including quite a number of women. As ‘the result of a drive launched today. the club expects soon to have a member- ship of 100 or more. First prices were easy at a decline of 15 to 19 points, and active months sold 19 to 25 points mnet lower, with October easing off to 22.46 and December to 22.38 under realising by recent buyers and southern selling. There was some further Wall st buying on reports of unsettied and showery weather in the south, but except for boll weevil complaints crop advices were generally favorable.
