BALTIMORE, February 25.—A bond {ssue of $1.000,000 for the construc- tion of a Baltimore-southern Mary- land trunk line, covering a distance of thirty-three miles, to connect up the La Plata-Washington boulevard with the Annapolis-Baltimore boule- vard, is called for in a bill introduced in the senate vesterday by Senators Sasscer and Mitchell. The $1,000,000 fund would be sacured by four bond issues of $250,000 each for four years. This fund, it was ex. plained by the sponsors, is to be con: sldered as a part of the state appro: priation for roads, but, in addition to that. the bill is said to be sponsored by prominent southern Marylanders, including Robert Crain, W. Bernard Duke and T.
