G A. by Victor Teyber; at the Kalorama Citizens’ Association by B. F. Leffever, and at the Service Club by Charles G. Graves. Mr. Graham Outlines Plan. E. C. Graham, president of the City Club and chairman of the District thrift committee, speaking of the campaign vesterday, said: “I want to urge every person living or employed in the District to start at once to build for himself the ten steps to individual prosperity. The building of these steps calls for no wmoney, for the beauty of thrift week is that all it asks of any one is simply to give thought to and make plans for getting ahead In life. All the erection that these ten steps involves is the will power to work carnestly like a true American and to spend one's earnings wissly for things that really count and are worth working for. It is just! ordinary common sense not to spend | all or more than one makes and to save something for future wise spending.” The ten steps to which Mr. Graham refers are. Work and Earn, Make a Budgot, Record Expenditures, Have a Bank Account, Carry Life Insurance, Own Your Home, Make a Will, Pay Bills Promptly, Invest in Safe Securities and Share with Others.
