Bergdoll, the draft evader, have filed suits in the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia against Thomas W. Miller, alien ‘oroperty cus- todian, and Frank White, treasurer of the United States, for the return of property valued at $176,904.25, seized as belonging to Grover C. Bergdoll. The property taken over by the gov- ernment included bank deposits total ing $86,904.25 and mortgages of $90,- 000, which Mrs. Bergdoll claims as her property. Mr. Braun, who changed his name from Bergdoll, says a note for $15,000, included in’ the seizure, be- longed to him.
