The Capital Traction Company is making elaborate plans to handle the {crowds expected to attend the Ring- ling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey cir- cus, which shows Monie; and Tues- day on the old Camp Megs site at oth street and Florida avenue northeast This will be the first time that this |Istreet car company has been privi- leged to transport a circus crowd, the [l j1arger circuses in the past having shown on the grounds at l5th and ||ll| | streets northeast. The traflic depart- ment of the Capital Traction Com- pany is determined to “do the thing right.” Persons living in the northwest sec- tion will be transported to the circus performances twice daily on cars starting from 20th and Calvert streets. Persons in the southwest will be tak- en on cars running up 7th street, and those in the southeast on cars start- ing from the navy yard.
