In connection with the procesdings for di- vorce instituted July 9, 1887, by William Escher, jr., against Lizaie Escher, Judge Cox in Equity Court No. 1 today signed a decree dismissing both the bill and the orose-bill. Judge Hagner in Equity Court No. 2 this afternoon ordered Adolph Weinhold to pay his wife, Fredericke Weinhold, alimony at ths rate of $25 a month and also to pay her $20 as course] fee. Edward Tolse With Edward Tolson, Accused of Shooting tent to Kill. colored, a resident of Montello, a village a short distance from Ivy City, was given a preliminary hear- ing in the Police Court this morning on a charge of attempted murder. James Car- ter, also colored, who lives at 420 3d street northeast, appeared as compiainant. He had been shot in the leg and had to be as- sisted to court this morning.
