Two Soldiers of a Shropshire Regi- ment Killed. A dispatch from Bombay yesterday says: This city is quiet today. The only soldiers killed in the riot of yesterday were two men of the Shropshire regiment, who were killed while out walking without arms. Plague Inspector Dawes was accidentally shot. In view of the many symptoms of dissat- isfaction, the plague committee is much criticised for leaving the searchers defense- less, especially when it was known that the visitations were bitterly resented by tne natives. ———+e-+____ AUCTION SALES OF REAL ESTATE, &c.
