P. Saunders, | ang successfully carried out two years ago, and its repetition yesterday was fully as enjoyable as on the former occasion. The room, with its long tables, each one dec- orated with one of the bright colors of the rainbow, made an exceptionally hand- some appearance. Mrs, H. G. Jacobs pre- sided over the red table, waich was loaded with flowers; Mrs. Dufour over the orange table, with fancy a:ticles; Mrs. W. H. Mc- Knew at the doll table, the yellow dispiay; Mrs, Saunders at the green table, at which ice cream and cake were dispensed; Mrs. lary organ G. W. Silsby at the blue table, furnished with decorated china; Mrs. P. H. Bristow at the indigo table and Mrs. W. M. King at the violet table, cn which was displayed a fine iot of fancy notions. Mrs. W. S. Har- ban presided at the lemonade stand, while Mrs. Laura Walker had charge of the “Jack Horner pie,” an immense grab bag. One of the novel features of the display was the exhibition of fancy needlework, well advertised under a placard with the words ‘“Womanly Work By Manly Men.” A number of gentlemen connected with the church had tried their hand at making fancy articles in this line, and had then donated the products to the fair. The tea will be repeated this afternoon and tonight.
