Assistant Secretary of the Interior Web- ster’ Davis has reversed the action of the pension bureau in rejecting the claim for back pension made by Louisa V. de Kil- patrick, widow of the famous major gen- eral, and has reopened the claim for fur- ther adjudication. She probably will get the pension, as the evidence shows that the cause of Gen. Kilpatrick's death, Bright's disease, was incurred in the serv- ice.
