Wesley Walker, a youth who said he was twenty years old, was charged in the Police Court today by Officer Fugitt with having been drunk twice a week for a month past. Walker admitted that he sometimes became intoxicated, but denied that it amounted to twice or even once a w2ek on an average. Judge Kimball questioned the accused et much length as to his habits of life and where he got the liquor which he last drank. He informed the judge, whereupon Judge Kimball sent him before Assistant Attorney Pugh, and it is expected that as a result an arrest for selling liquor to minors will be made. On returning to the court room Judge Kimball told Walker tnat he had concluded to give him a chance to reform and released him on his personal bonds, with the implied promise that he would not drink any in- toxicants for six months. —_———__ Mra.
