Its im- portance in the community is recognized and its friends are numbered by the thousands. He laid particular stress upon the fact that it is the young men who accomplish the most; that many of the most famous men of history achieved their proud positions long before they had reached middle age, and, using this as his argument, he showed how important it was that only the best of influerces should be thrown about the young men of our land to keep them from siraying into paths of evil at a time when they are most susceptible to bad influences.
