Two Sundays ago, it is stated, two colored women, who evidently got drunk at »ne of these places, became ‘involved in a disgraceful quarrel at the station, where a number of passen- gers were waiting to take the evening train for Washington. One of these woinen uttered. loud cries on the road before she reached the station, causing the inhabit- ants of the neighbornood to believe that she was being murdered. The men thea be- a to beat the animal and use profane iZuage and were promptly ordered from the place. They drove throvgh his prcp- erty again on two ‘ifferent Sundays ufter that occasion, and it is statad by the sta- tion master that they nearly drove a horse to death yesterday, and locatel at Lily Park, where they held high revel. The old Coxey camping ground near the Biadens- burg bridge has the reputation of being very attractive to the crowds who come out from Washington. An unnrually large crowd, containing many noted colcred sports from Washington, enjoyed last Sun- day in the sylvan shades of that place. It is rumored that the toughs who have been driven out of Jackson City and Rosslyn intend to make it their Sunday lead- quarters, and if such Is the case the au- thorities of this part of the coanty will take strong measures to compel them to obey the law.
