A Plan Adopted to Raise the Additional Amount Required. bd A meeting of the citizens’ executive commit- tee of the Grand Army encampment was held this afternoon for the purpose mainly of discuss- ing a plan of raising the additional money to complete the citizens’ fund. As was stated in Satufday’s Stax, the subscriptions to this fund now paid in amount to $33,000. It is neces- sary to have the entire guarantee fund, nemely, 250,000, fully paid in before the appropriation each member and by quick work, covering per- haps a day, the canvass and have practically the cash on hand.
