Ail the great lights of the region surrounding ts, pos sibly ¢ome from other parts of the country, |’ were present and participated in the ceremony. I judge that this was gone over with great pre- cision and particularity. The hall was filled to ite utmost capacity. The vocal music was fur- | nished by a choir of twenty-five, with Mrs. W. B. Patterson as director. Miss Clara L. Guli- | ger presided at tho instrument. Mr. G. A. L. Merrifield made the address of welcome. Sun-| dry addresses were made by other conspicuous | members in the order. The mostnotable was the address by Grand Deputy Jos. G. Blanks and it related to the miselon of the order and ite triumphs. He commands an eloquent and | impassioned style and he swayed the audience at mes with great power.
