Moore was called up as soon as the court was convened. The prisoner in answer to the court said: Thave to say is I had.no intention of killing him. That's all I have got to say. ‘Thé court said that there was no danger from the bands of Jandorf and he had taken the matter in bis own hands. One of the saddest parts of the business is that he does not seem to realize his position. He then im- posed the sentence that he be hanged on Fri- tay, January 15, between the hours of a.m, and 12 noon. The prisoner received the sentence without any feeling and at its close relieved his mouth of the tobacco and went belo’ Mr. French, bis counsel, said the prisoner had a fair trial, but he had his doubts as to his intention to murder and would apply to the executive. eit Found Dead in Bed. William Theobald Wolfe ‘Tone was bis eldest son, wlio came to this country with his mother and her second husband, Thomas Wilson. ‘Therefore it was son, mother and stepfather who were interred in the Presbyterian cemetery, George- town.
