Phillp Wentzell, superintendent of the Columbia street car stables, at 15th and Boundary streets northeast, was murdered last night by a drunken negro, named Nelson Colbert. Tne murder oc curred about 7 otlock in the evening. Wentzell ‘Was seventy-two years old and had been in the employ of the railroad company for several years. His assailant, who ts a young colored man, was also an employe of the company and worked as & laborer under Mr. Wentzell.
