ARICH LONG ISLAND BACHXLOR WHO MARRIED HIS GOOD-LOOKING COOK. ‘The New York Tribune says: The death on Sun- ay night ot Robert Townsend, the East Neck mililouaire, will revive recollecuons of his eccentric career. He was a son of Robert C. Townsend, of ‘Unis city, and inherited about a million of dollars, He induiged himself to the fullest extent in what- ever way his eccentric notions dictated, and it was his last performance, about a year and a halt that a him most into notice.
