Rogers contradicts several of the state- ments made by Mr. Chandler in yesterday's STAR concerning the missing telephone papers. Mr. Chandler said that “as all the exhibits had been printed they could be suppiled. Mr. Rogers had the record printed, and 1t 1s absolutely correct.” Concerning this statement Mr. Rogers says: “The record cousists of a condensed synopsis of the Dill and also of some of the exuibits (condensed au breviated) Which pertain to th: demurrer only; While other partsof the bill and exhibits pertaining to the Anal cause are not printed at all in the Fecort, which Mr. Chandler says 1s absolutely cor- rect.” "Mr. Rogers lo says that the side be repre sents 15 put at a disadvantace at the hearing by the absence of the papers, because, the printed recor. being merely a condensation of the. plead- Ings, It Is often absointely necessary to refer to the Unprinted portions of the partially printed exhibits, aud asks, if tne Whole record can be made up froin his printed documents in the clerk's office, Why Mr. Chandler does not make it up at once and deliver it to Mr. Meigs. — October Weddings, ‘The marriage of Mr. Percy C.
