Dr. Hubbell FUNERAL BREAD WITHOUT YEAST. — It 1s & well-known fact that bread made With yeast, if eaten before 1t be- comes stale ferments again in the stomach, producing indigestion and numerous other diseases. Bread raised with Baking Powder, instead of yeast, is entirely without this defect, but on the contrary is one of the most effectual preventives of indigestion or dyspepsia. By the use of the Royal Baking Powder the saccharine properties of the flour, which are destroyed by fermentation with yeast, are prescrved, and the bread is made more nutriti- tious, Ten per cent more bread is baked—because of this saving—from the Same quantity of flour. ‘The Royal Baking Powder will also make sweet, white bread from an inferior quality of our, a property possessed by no other leavening agent. ‘Thus, much flour that, although possessing all the nutritive qualities, is dark in color, or from other cause is cansidered below the finer grades, and therefore much cheaper, can be utilized and turned into a perfectly sweet was elected a’ member of the board, to fill a va- ancy. An appeal to good sense always attracts the attention of the reasoning, thinking man. Show him the why ‘and the wherefore and he is convinced. Victor E. Adler aims tocapture the trade and the good will of all reasoning thinking men. We don't boast of selling fine clothing at low prices and then ad- vance no reasors why we can sell low. On the contrary weaim to make it apparent toall that by carefully watching the market for bargains; making our own clothing; buying cloth, trimmings, etc., by the lange quantity; paying cash and securing a good discount and keeping expenses low we areable to undersell all other Washington .‘othiers. A dollar is a dollar the world around, but you can get more clothing for a dollar at Victor E. Adler's reliable clothing establishment than you can get anywhere else. ‘Thinking men want reason, all want clothing at the lowest possible prices. We oblige all. VICTOR E.
