A CUMOUS CASE—A MARRIAGE LICENSE, BUT NO WEDDING—THE INTENDED BRIDE CLAIMS THE DEAD BODY OF HER AFFIANCED BUS BAND. Among the marriage licenses issued on Fri- day afternoon was one to James A. Bean and Ira Anna Elder, and in Tae SRAB of Saturday arternoon it was published, as also the following death notice: BEN. Aruoid, at fifth precinet, aud staved to bim the iucts and asied bis advice. Mr. Padgett, the ussistuut attorney of the District, being present, gave the opinion that uuless Mis. Elder was the lawiul Wedded Wie of the deceased she could not hold the body.
