How it Will be Celebrated in This City. As the Fourth of July falls upon Sunday this year it will be celebrated on Monday, which, ‘according to law, becomes a legal holiday. All the public offices will be closed, and there will be avery general suspension of business. A large number of people have arranged to leave the city on excursions or private ptenics. The oldest Inhabitants will, as usual, bave an old fash- joned celebration. A series of trotting races have been arranged to take place at Ivy City park. THE PYROTECHNIC DISPLAY. Those remaining.in town are promised a Pyrotechnic entertainment in the Monument grounds in the evening, the fund to pay for it having been raised by subscriptions of citizens, excepta deficiency of abeut $200 In the amount necessary, which Messrs.
