Joxes.—Mr. William jones, an old citizen of Washington, and one of the best-known printers of tie country, died last night at the home of his son-in-law, Norval W. King, 1007 H street. Mr. Jones, who was 78 years old, and a native of Fredericksburg, Va., came to this city when a boy, and served an “apprenticeship as a printer’ uader Duif Green. Since that time he was identified with the printers of the city. He had a very large acquaintance, and was very popular with his jellow-craitsmen, For several years he was treasurer and trustee of Columbia Ty pograph- ical Union, No. 10].
