Altogether it clever piece of nonsense, DNAL THEATER.—Mr. Robert Buchan- au's arctic meiodrama, “Storm Beaten,” began iis second engazement in this city last night. ‘The play was seen here for the first time last season. When its elaborate and realistic scenery, its exelting if somewhat lurid and “creepy” in cidents, and the general briskness of its action, won nsiderable favor among the large oers who find pleasure in this species of entertainment. The setting of the t night wassubstantially the same as on its former visit, and excited approving applause. Mr.’ Edmund Collier, who as- es the leading role, is # vigorous and peable young actor, whose efforts won fre- pplause. Miss Lizzie Hudson, though t to be lachrymose on slight provocation, is an interesting actress who strives to do her work well. The remainder of the cast is tair.
