Walker, whose death at his farm, Pleasant Prospect in Prince George county, Md., last Saturday, was mentioned in THE Stak last evening, ‘took place yesterday from his resi- dence. “It was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends ofthe deceased who Joined inthe cortege from the tarm to Glerwood, a distance of about 16 miles, and there with a large number of the Washington friends of the deceased who had assembled at the cemetery, participated in the final services and witnessed. the interment, Rev. Dr, Thos. E. Carsov, sidin elder of the M, E. Chureh South, offici- ated, and the pall bearers were six of the deceased's grand sons—three of Mr. James T. Walker's sons, one of Dr. W. W. Lester's, and two of Mr. Charles Walker.
