Some curious evidence on this point was given at a meeting held yesterday at the Commercial sale- rooms of Hecate buyers and brokers con- nécted with the fee trade to consider the ad- visability of alterations of the terms for the sale of coffee London. I CALLED ANDSLIPPEDINTO THECOAT. I CAME VERY NEAR SLIPPING THROUGH IT, IT WAS ABOUT THREE SIZES TOO LARGE. HE CHALEED IT AND PINNED IT, AND TOLD ME TO CALL AGAIN. I DID 80 AND HE MARKED IT FULL OF CHALK LINES UNCE MORE. A WEEK THEREAFTER HE SENT THE SUITTO MY HOME. THE COAT WAS ABOUT AS MUCH 100 SMALL AS ON THE FIRST TRIAL IT HAD BEEN TOO LARGE. I RE- TURNED IT. HE LET OUT SOME OF THE SEAMS AND SENT IT BACK. ENLARGING IT HAD THROWN THE GOAT OUT OF BALANCE. THECOLLAR STOOD AWAY FROM MY NECK. NO AMOUNT OF COAXING WOULD BRING IT CLOSE UP, I ONCE MORE RETURNED THE COAT. THE ‘CRACK’ CUSTOM TAILOR SAID THE FAULT WAS WITH MY NECK AND NOT WITH THE COAT, PERHAPS HE WAS RIGHT, BUT NEVERTHELESS I WAS LEFT WITH A SUIT OF CLOTHES ON MY HANDS THAT I CANNOT PUT ON MY PERSON AND WEAR WITH ANY DEGREE OF COMFORT. I THEN DID WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE START. I WENT TO SAKS & COMPANY AND potent a READY-MADE sur. I FEEL VERY PROUD OF THIS SUIT.
