To the Fattor of the EVES1Ne Star: Your remarks a few days ago about excursion trains having right of way on Metropolitan branch B. & O., were well-timed and true. It is almost an every-day occurrence, and we believe the annoyance to its regular patrons Is increas- ing. This morning in coming i on the 8:54 train from Washington Grove, we were “switeh- 0 off” three times, and arrived in the city only In other words, three-quarters of ah hour Lat than one hourand ‘we were about or alittle more three-quarters in making less than 21 miles. ‘The 4:40 train Saturday afternoon made just ag Jast time as this—reaching the Grove about 20 or 25 minutes past 6.
