SUDDEN DEATH oF A WELI-ENOWN CITI- ZEN.—Mr. Jenkin Th. mas died last night at his residence, 3026 N street, after a short fllness, in the 79th year of his age. Mr. Thomas came to this place from Wales when butalad, and bas since, up to the date of his death, resided here. ‘The deceased at the time of his death was presi- dent of the Oldest Inhabitants’ Association and member of large number of beneficial so- cieties. It will be remembered that his wife died about three months ago.
