After Tum Stan’s report of the trial of Frank Minor, colored, indicted for the murder of his wife, ‘Victoria Minor, on October 11Uh, 1382, closed yester- day, Judge Wylie charged the jury, and gave the case to them at five o'clock. ‘THE JURY WANT A POINT CLEAKED UP. This morning, on the convening of the Criminal Court, word was recelved from the jury that they desired to come into court. In a few minutes they appeared, and Mr. Cooper stated that they had not agreed upon a Verdict, and the court directed that they again retire. . Mr. Cooper said that there was some misunder- ding as to which of the prayers were granted which were not. The court sald if the point fas Stated he would try and make the point clear. Mr. Cooper said they desired to know whether bring in a verdict of manslaughter. Judge Wylle sald they had the facts. If they believed there was a fight, and the Diows were ‘Struck In the heat of passion, then the case was. ene of manslaughter, but if they did not so find, and the man Was sane, it was murder. ‘The former replied that they now understood it, and the jury again retired.
