ML, Director, est selt-oun Let us sive you a few illustrations of what TEN PER CENT ABOVE COST means. We are now making a finesuit of English Diagonal which for neat appearance M | andactual service is very desirable. A carcful est shows that this suit, which is carefully made and fine trimmed, costs us by the thousand just $9.10 each. Ten per cent of $9.10is 91 cents. We have marked thut suit at$l0. Clothiers who want 4 and $5 profit on a suit will ask you $15for asimilar suit. 91 cents seems li avery small profitons $10 suit, end so itis, but it is ten percent Suppose we sell 3,000 of these suits every ‘week. That would be €2,730, sufficient to pay store ex- euses and leave usa good profit beide. Now, per- ‘haps, you can readily perceive why we have determined to sell goods so remarkably low.
