By sunrise yesterday the ladies were up and busy with woodland docorations appropriate to cente- nary day. Shugrue, a good-looking young farmer of Windsorville, Conn, visited Brooklyn on Monday in search of a wife and called at Raymond street Jail yesterday to see Ella Larrabee, the young female burglar. The card of a New York city missionary and a note from Sergeant Ballou were sufficient to enable him to get.an interview with her. ‘Keeper Gallaher invited Mr. Shugrue to the sitting room, and announced to Ella Larrabee that a visitor wished to see her. at tnesame time indi- cating to her that she had better put her limited.
