Beat the yelks and whites of two well together, and pour the milk, when slightly cool, on to the eggs, and beat well together. Put the meat in a porce- lain kettle, and pour the vinegar and spices over it, and a pint of soup stock. Coyer closely and draw to the side of the stove. where it will scald, but not boll. Pour the hot milk on the beaten egg. Return to the fire and stir until it begins to thicken.
