The charge of affray against John Q. Thompson, of the Sunday Chronicle, and C. K. Hansen, the artist, which grew out of an encounter between the two gentlemen, near the National theater sev- eral days ago, in which a revolver and cowhide are alleged to have played active parts, was called in the’ Police Court this morning. Col Christie appeared for Mr. Thompson and Mr. Chas. Pelham for Mr. Hansen, Mr. Pelham stated that his client was sick, and he was wiiling to entera plea of fullty. “Sir. Policeman Middleton testified that on the night of Thursday, 18th instant, he heard pistol shots near the National theater, and ran to the spot and put Mr. Hansen under arrest and afterwards swore out a warrant against Mr. Thompson.
