Now the large dealers in cities want fifty. One would naturally suppose with the immense increase of business flere competition in trade profits would be aller. Why the difference? Times have changed. The purchaser no joneer: is satis- fled unless his garments are busheled to death; in other words, he wants them made over. Tnis en- talfs enormous expense, and the worst feature 18 that the man who is easy to fit and sult con- tributes to pay for alterations for the difficult one. I have entered into the spirit of this change only 8o far as it may be necessary to better the fit, consequently my prices are lower than houses meeting every requirement made of them. My stock of ready-made suits was never so large as at present, nor are better fitting garments to be found within our borders, so that but few changes are necessary. Gro. C.
