TRICT BOARD ORGANIZED. ‘The headquarters of the fair committee at the Bbbitt Hous continues to be the leading point of interest during the evening. The publication last evening in Tue Srar of the assurance that the difficulties encountered in the lack of sufficient space would be promptly and satisfactorily met by the management, tended to allay ail fears ‘as to a probable post- ponement of the undertaking, and the secre- tary was in the receipt during the evening of many congratulations upon the firmness and de- cision with which the board of direction has dis- posed of this perplexing question.
