PROCEEDINGS IN THE POLICE COURT IN RERDELL’S CASE TO-DAY. Yesterday afternon Montford C. Rerdell was accosted on the Avenue by Detective Voss, who served a warrant upon him charging him with conspiracy, subornation of perjury, &:., in connection With the star route cases} Golng before Judge Sneil. Mr. RerJell gave bail for MMs appesrance ut the Police Court. in $5,000. In the Criminal Court on Saturday, {t will be remem: dered, the indictinents against “M. were quashed. See ge Mr. Danter A. PRosnan, a well-known citizen of the District, died Suturday evening ut, six o'clock, G@ street northwest, in the 56th year of his age. He was born in County Kerry, Ireland, and came to this country 32 years ago and to this city 21 years ‘ago. For many years he had been engaged in book selling, making a specialty of religious works. He was prominent in connection with every movement in behalf of Ireland and was held in high esteem both by his own countrymen and by those of his adopted land. He was espectally well-known and beloved in Catholle circles, the office which he held as sexton of St. Patrick’s Chureh giving him a wide acquain- tance. The funer:! will take place from &t.
