Christiancy, which was instituted about a year ago, and in which the defendant has filed a cross-bill, will, in the course of & month or two, be ready for hearing in the Equity Court. Wharton, but admitted that when she arrived from Peru she used that name in registering at a hotel; that it Was the name of a friend of hers in Baltimore, Whose husband was connected with an agricult ral college. To rebut this testimony the depos! tion of a party engaged in getting up the Baltimore directory hxs been taken and it {s in effect that the . Three of the female clerks at the Washington City Post Office testified that Mrs. Christiancy had called for letters addressed to Mrs. K. K. Wharton, Fannie L.
