ANNUAL MEETING OF THE STOCKHOLDERS TO ELECT MANAGERS, ‘The annual meeting of the stockholders of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company to elect mana- gers was called this morning at Odd Fellows’ Hall, and by 9 o'clock there was a crowd present. It will be remembered that for the past three years there has been considerable Interest felt in these elec- tions. This year there ts only a difference of one hame tn the tickets, Mr. 8. H. Walker on one and Mr. James §. Edwards ‘on the other, to fill the vacancy occasioned by the action of Mr. Samuel Norment, who had been president of the board of managersup to last January and since then a member of the board, but wind declined a re-elec- tion.
