Yesterday Examiner Lovejoy held but a short session in the Christiancy divorce case. The wit- ness, Stephen Chester, called to contradict Mr. Haight, a witness for the defendant, resumed the stand and testified that Haight told him that he had made the acquaintance of Mrs. Christiancy when two days out on the steamer. (Haight had testifled that tt was two days before reaching Lima.) Chester testified to Haight having shown him Mrs. Christlancy’s photograph.
