THE VIRGINIA MIDLAND RatLxoap.—The ar- gument upon au injunction obtained by str. sibert, of New York, who represents abot $60,(00 of the stock of the Virginia Midiand rail- roac, to prevent the trustees of that company trom disposing of the road in order that 1 may be reorganized, was begun on Friday last before the court or appeals. in session at Staunton, and concluded yesterday by Col. W.W. Gordon. cf Hicbmond. Eminent counsel were engaged on beth sides. Judge Bobertson, Jas, A'tred Jones, Gen. Wim. H. Payne and Wm. H. Black- ford eppeared for the trustees, who represent £200,000 worth of stock and desire to sell. Col. Gerdon, of Richmond, and Capt. Francis L. Smith, of this city, represented those who op- pese the reorganization of the road.
