CLARK. Yesterday, in the Criminal Court, Judge Wylie, the case of Samuel A. Clark, colored, charged with having on the afternoon of Christmas day last murdered John Lee, (bet- ter known as Jack Cash,) also colored, on Pennsylvania avenue, near 3d street east, was continued after our report elosed. District Attorney Wells prosecuting: T. F. Milier and John H. Cook for the defence Frank Schultze, a boy, testified that he saw , Clark when he first came down 3d street, and | the two men met in front of him, and the shoot- ing took place. The man that did the shoot- ing had on a brown coat and dark hat, and Clark was the man.
