Shuster’s dry goods store on the avenue last night, and carried off 3 rolls of silk worth between threeand four bundre 1 dollars. The broken window ison the night of the entrance, inside the iron gate that is Fut up when the store is closed. It is sup- posed that the robbery took between ten and eleven o'clock. Sbuster, in passing the store about eleven o'clock last night, saw that the iron gate was off its binges, and called dowa the private watch- man to fix it. It was not poticed then that a robbery had been committed, bat Ue store was closely waicbed for we remain der of the night ‘The case was reported to police headquart- ers this morning and asstzved to the dete lives, but it is likely too late to enable them to get on the clue of the perpetrator.
