He did not retarn and bis wife was very uneasy, because since he lost bis position in the cash room of the Treasury department a short time since, he had been depressed in spirits, having been unable to obtain employment. Sue finally sent word to the police stations, and the fact of kis disappearance was telegraphed around. No tidings were heard of him until this morning when Mr. John B. Dord, who resides in the county, reported at the second precinct station house that Minta Hall, a colored an, had found in the bushes on the Queen's Chapel road, between the Brent- wood and Bladensburg roads, the deaa body ofa wh-te man answering his description. SUICIDE BY DROowsING.—The body of a colored man, which was aiterwards identi. fied as that of Richard Sanders, was found in Rock creek, near the outlet lock, yester- day evening about 4 o'clock. A man by the name of A. J. Arrington pulled Saunders out of the creek at K street ridge, where he hai jumped in last Monday night about 9 o'clock, and took him as far as the Circle. It is thought he went immediately back, and carried out his suicidal attempt, as he has been missing since, as stated in Tue Star. No cause for the act is known.
