Tue facts in the case are that about a year ago she hada severe attack of typhoid fever, nd never fuily recovered from the efiects of that dis- ease. She has been an attendant of the Metropolitan lay school and cboreb for some years and jor some time past has been exercised in her mind on tue xubject of religion. Aho mouth she was converted at her home and ubout that lime altended the only one of the Hammond and Bentley meetings she ever attended. On the first Sunday in this month sbe was received into the chureh by Dr. Newman. Ou the tullowing Thresday (ith dust.) she was taken sick and Dr. Howard | Was calied the next day. Her disease was Pronounced by inim to be congestion of the rain. At times she was out of her mind, but it did not become necessary to tie her as has been published. For several days be- fore her death ber mind was ciear and she gave but little troubie. Dr. Howard stated that it was probable th ment had brought on the disease, but that such was the condition of her mind that almost any excitement wouid have brought on the fatal aitack. .———— A Curntovus WILL Case Dectpep.—Some months ago George W. Humes and wile filed @ bill in euity for the purpose of disposing of certain real estate devised by the late Daniel Dowde, who died In November, 1869; and for the construction of the devise to one of the complainants, Mary Humes (ice Dowde), which reads as follows: “J give and bequeath unto my daughter, Mary Dowde, my dweiling-bouse, No. 55, on tith street ‘west. she paying for two masses every month . for the repose of my soul as long as she lives.” The bill prays that this clause be so construed a8 to vest the fee simple title in said Mary.
