Hearing in the Case of T. W. Brown. Some Important Testimony. The preliminary hearing of the case of Theodore W. Brown, charged (with Ottman and Halleck) with the larceny of $47,097.63 from the United States Treasury on the 20 day of June last, was continued after our re- port closed yesterday afternoon in the Police Court before Judge Mills—Messrs. Wells and Wilson for the government, and Mr. Wm. A. Cook for defence. WM. LUMSFORD’S TESTIMONY. Wm.
