NGER- BUND YESTERDAY—THE CONCERT TO- SIGHT AND PICNIC TO-MORROW. The German Singing Society from Rich- mond, called the “Virginia,” arrived in this city yesterday morning as the guests of the Was ington Sengerbund, who met them at the depot of the Ballimore and Potomac ratl- road and escorted them to the St. James hotel, where they are to stop during their visit. There are fifty-three of them, ani many of their wives and families accompany them. At I o’ciock the visitors dined at the St. James, and at 2 o'clock were escorted to the 7th street wharf, where they were joined by the Sengerbund. and all embarked on the ferry boat for Alexandria, where they spent the afternoon at Portner’s gardens in singing and conversation.
