Worcester county has elected delegates favorable to Carroll, which (according to the Baltimore American) brings his vote up to 2% so far, leaving Groome 22 and Hamilton 43. The resolutions adopted by the Calvert county convention instruct the delegates to support Hamilton. It is still persistently asserted that Mr. Groome is out of the field,and that the actual contest is between Carroll and Hamilton. The battle ground of the whole campaign ts likely to be in Baltimore county today and to-morrow, the primary meet- ings extending over twodays. Both parties are very confident of carrying the county— the Hamilton men especially so. The Arvri- con asserts that @ considerable number of Tepeaters from Ealtimore are being eolon- ized in suburban districts, and the contest Will be close and bitter. As the four votesof Anne Arundel and the three of Howar are conceded tobe anti-Hamilton,and the four of Harfort sre tolerably certain to be in his favor, the seven of Baltimore county assume great value. On them the chances of getting enough votes from the city and the Eastern Sbore to nominate him, Mr. Hamilton's prospects may be sald to depend.
