CRiminaL Covrt—Judge Olin. ing Jndge Olin decided the ques- tion as to attorney’s fees in cases appealed from the Police Court that such fees should be al- lowed. He said he had no doubt that the fee Provided for in the law belongs to the attorney, and that it should be paid by the marshal to the attorney, and not to the District as part of ite fines. It belongs to the attorney as all other fees, and is only chargable under this law in cases of conviction. He had nodoubt whatever but the District should not claim it, and the attorney should have it when collected by the marshal. The petit jurors were discharged un- til Monday. Equity Covet—Julye Wylie.
